In October of 2014 we celebrated 20 years of business! Salina Bookshelf was started in 1994 as an independent publisher of multicultural materials by brothers Eric and Kenneth Lockard. In it’s first year they began with just one Navajo language textbook, and have now published over 70 titles including textbooks, reference books, audio books, novels, youth chapter books, children’s books, and baby books.
